
The Project
Naranja Hospitality LLC was created with the sole purpose to search for and purchase a currently operating hotel and restaurant (with tourism and restaurant licenses) in either Malaga or adjacent Granada. The property will ideally be nestled in the hills within a 20-25 minute drive to either the beaches of the Costa del Sol or Costa Tropical. Malaga International airport (AGP) is the best airport in the region therefore the property should be within a 30 -minute to 1 hour’s distance.
Naranja Hotel and Restaurant will operate between 18 to 30 guest rooms (based on initial property purchased), all en suite (with private bathrooms), with a full-service restaurant and bar. The restaurant will ideally seat 24 people indoors with much greater capacity on an outside patio, serving a total of approximately 70 diners during a single seating. Existing structures on the property (such as a caretaker’s cottage or barn) will be converted over into additional ensuite guest rooms.
Capital investments will be used to bring the existing property up to the quality of a 3-star hotel which will in turn enhance the pricing model. The service model will be mirrored after a 4-star rating. Based on Spanish classifications, we will be designated a 3-star hotel, as opposed to a 4-star because we will not have the requisite number of elevators (2 or more).
The restaurant will be open to the public and will pull from the populations in the area surrounding the hotel and restaurant. Residents or visitors to the region within a 30 minute drive will be heavily targeted.
In addition to hotel and restaurant operations, an events program will be established (Weddings, Parties, Corporate Retreats) to take advantage of the patio and gardens.
